1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Historacle ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the www.historacle.ai website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the "Site").

2. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

3. User Representations

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:

4. Age requirements

Historacle is an educational platform, and we welcome learners of different ages. Access depends on age:

• Under 13. Children under 13 may use Historacle only with verifiable consent from a parent, legal guardian, or a school or organization acting under appropriate authority. A parent, guardian, or school administrator must set up and supervise the account. We limit the information we collect from children under 13 and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Ages 13 to 17. Users between 13 and 17 may use Historacle. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
• 18 and over. Users who are 18 or older may create and use an account on their own behalf.

When Historacle is provided through a school or organization, that institution may set additional conditions of use and may act as the account holder for students. If you believe a child has provided us information without the required consent, contact us at support@editlingo.com and we will delete it.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which we make the Site available. The Site may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us.

6. Disclaimer

The Site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. You agree that your use of the Site and our services will be at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Site and your use thereof.

Note on AI Accuracy: Historacle uses third-party artificial intelligence (LLMs) to generate responses in the persona of historical figures. While we strive for historical accuracy, the AI may occasionally produce incorrect or misleading information. Users should verify important historical facts with primary sources.

External Data Storage: We use third-party cloud hosting and database providers for data storage and infrastructure. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree to the processing of your data by these third-party providers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
